Myofascial Release

MFR is a hands-on therapy that focuses on releasing tension in the fascia, the connective tissue that surrounds and supports muscles throughout your body. Fascia can become tight or restricted due to injury, overuse, or stress, which can lead to pain, stiffness, and limited mobility.

During a myofascial release session, the therapist applies gentle, sustained pressure to specific areas to stretch and loosen the fascia. This process helps to relieve tension, improve mobility, and reduce discomfort by restoring the fascia’s flexibility and allowing the underlying muscles to move more freely.

It’s particularly beneficial for athletes, muscle tightness, mobility issues, and those dealing with chronic pain, , as it promotes better tissue function and overall body mechanics.

*Unlike traditional massage there is little to no oil used during treatment.

Rapid NFR

RAPID-NFR - quickly relieves pain by targeting the nervous system. It releases tension in muscles, tendons, and nerves through specific pressure and movement, offering fast and effective pain relief for a variety of conditions.

RAPID resets how your brain perceives pain and tension, helping to eliminate both quickly. It targets old, unhealed injuries and releases lingering inflammation, which reduces sensitivity and restores normal function.

During treatment, the therapist applies pressure to tight or painful areas while guiding you through movements. This can feel uncomfortable, but it’s part of resetting the nervous system to ease pain.

Graston

Graston Technique® (GT) Therapy is a proven evidence based method that uses special tools to treat soft tissue problems, like fascial adhesions, as well as muscle and tendon dysfunction.

By following the body’s natural movement patterns, GT Therapy providers can accurately find and treat problem areas.

This approach often helps resolve issues that were once considered long-term or permanent, using tools specifically designed for this purpose.

Cupping

Cupping therapy is an ancient healing technique that uses small cups to create suction on the skin. The cups used in session are made of silicone, or plastic, and create a vacuum that gently pulls the skin and underlying tissues upward.

Unlike massage, which involves pressing down on tight muscles, cupping lifts the tissues, which helps relieve compression and allows the muscles to relax. This lifting action increases blood flow to the area, reducing muscle tension and promoting better circulation. It also helps loosen the fascia (the connective tissue surrounding muscles) and can assist in flushing out toxins from the tissues.

The cups can either stay in place or be moved along the skin, and the therapy may leave temporary circular marks, similar to bruises, which typically fade within a few days.

By lifting and decompressing the tissues, cupping therapy offers a unique way to promote healing and reduce tension in the body.

Mindfulness & Breath work

Mindfulness & Breath work Techniques Sessions incorporate breath work and mindfulness techniques from my background as a yoga instructor, to enhance the mind-body connection. When clients focus on their breath and remain present, it supports the body’s ability to release physical tension while promoting mental relaxation. This approach deepens the therapeutic effects of the treatment, supporting stress relief and overall well-being, while fostering greater awareness and healing.
